Pokemon GO: Three legendary Pokemon coming back next week

Niantic Labs has just shared some new details about its popular AR-based smartphone game, Pokemon GO. As part of the fresh information, the company noted that it is bringing back three Legendary Pokemon to the game. These three Pokemon including Azelf, Mesprit, and Uxie will appear in the Pokemon GO Raids next week. The company also gave a hard date about the return stating that players can spot the Pokemon from November 24. This return is part of the upcoming “Lake Legends” in-game event. Pokemon GO getting three Legendary Pokemon, details

According to the announcement, the “Lake Legends” event will also come with some new Field Research tasks and a “Shiny” Pokemon. The event will kick-off at 1 PM PT or 2:30 AM local time on November 25. A report from GameSpot noted that this is right after three Legendary Pokemon Terrakion, Virizion, and Cobalion leave the game. The upcoming event will go on till November 30 and these Pokemon will be available in five-star Raids. In addition to these, players will have increased chances of capturing several Pokemon including Psyduck, Machop, Abra, and more. Other Pokemon in the list also includes Goldeen, Magikarp, Starly, Bidoof, Shellos, Ralts, and Surskit. In addition, players can also get “Shiny Golden” during the event as mentioned above.

Niantic Labs also stated that the in-game event will come with “themed” Field Research tasks. Players can get new rewards through these AR Mapping tasks. Interested players can also check out the details on the official announcement page here. In addition to this event, the company is also gearing up for its second Community day event on November 21. It is calling the second day “Pokemon Go Magmar Day” which follows days after the first Electrabuzz Community day.

The company also added support for Pokemon GO in its Pokemon Home online service in the last couple of weeks. To celebrate this integration, the company is also holding a dedicated Pokemon Home event on November 23. As part of the event, players will see several Pokemon in the wild more often with increased opportunities to capture. Some of these Pokemon include Shiny Slowpoke, Alolan Sandshrew, and Alolan Diglett.
