After Starfield, Redfall is the second game from Bethesda, slated for a release this year. It is also one of the most anticipated games of 2023. Regardless, Redfall has already seen through multiple delays, being another number which saw production through the pandemic. However, we still don’t have an official statement on the launch date, but there are internal reports on the same. Industry insiders are hinting at a date this May. Redfall- Latest Update
From the trailers that we’ve earlier seen, Redfall is another vampire slasher which takes us back to games like Left 4 Dead and Far Cry. Brought to us by Arkane Studios and Bethesda, the game has been internally delayed twice through its production in the pandemic. It is now scheduled for an awaited launch this year, and now we have a hint at the date.
A leaker eXtas1s tweeted on January 13 that the game is confirmedly expected to release on May 2nd, 2023. This is the same leaker who had outed details on “Overdose”, an unannounced and upcoming project of Hideo Kojima’s. Brad Sams, an Xbox insider had also “cryptically” tweeted in agreement of this. However, his tweet now seems to have been deleted.

This new information is in line with another report from earlier in December 2022. Coming from industry insider Jez Corden, it was suggested that Redfall has been internally delayed a second time for a launch in the first week of May, 2023. Corden on other hand had referred to a Tweet from another leaker Okami13.

As for Redfall, the game had never really officially received a launch date, but reports suggested that it was scheduled for a launch this March. However, we might get to know more about this, officially at Xbox’s Developer Direct Showcase scheduled for January 25th, 2023.
