During the 2023 Roblox Developers Conference (RDC), the company announced that Roblox will be accessible on both PS4 and PS5 platforms beginning in October. The press release from Roblox Corporation highlights that PS4 and PS5 owners can look forward to accessing the complete range of Roblox experiences. This suggests that users who play Roblox on a different platform can seamlessly log into their accounts and continue their gaming journey.

While Roblox has made its way to Xbox and is soon arriving on PlayStation consoles, there are currently no official plans for a Nintendo Switch release. Roman Skuratovskiy, a spokesperson for Roblox Corporation, expressed the company's ambition for Roblox to be accessible on all devices globally but clarified that there are no immediate intentions to bring Roblox to the Nintendo Switch.

CEO Davee Baszuki, however, hasn't completely ruled out the possibility, as he mentioned during a recent earnings call that a version of the Nintendo Switch might materialize at some point in the future.

This development is undoubtedly a positive outcome for Roblox as it gains access to yet another vast market. While the game is already quite popular, the potential for further growth is substantial, considering there are over 117 million PS4s in circulation waiting for it to be introduced to the system. But, it looks like Nintendo users will still have to wait for the game to reach at their devices.
