There are 4 zones in PUBG Mobile. Every zone is created with inspiration of a different geographical region in the world. The designers went across the seven seas to learn about the real time maps and get those bits of details in the PUBG Mobile game to give it a non-fictitious look while making different zones.
There has been a lot of hard work put in by the creators of PUBG Mobile to bring out the real-looking graphics on your mobile screens. That is experienced fully while playing in the different zones.
While a player switches between the maps, it gives an all-new gaming experience with all new places to explore.
The good news is, the maps are completely accessible from the Day 1 of the game. Therefore, these game zones can be chosen by a player at the beginning of a game itself.
Erangel
Erangel map
The first game zone is Erangel. It is the most preferred game zone in PUBG. When a player begins a game, the game settings are by default on the Erangel map.
As an average player spends most of the time playing in Erangel, it is by naturally favorite zone of all the maps in the mobile PUBG.
With 8x8 km area, it has a huge land surface and 48% water. It becomes a great battle zone for the gamers.
Shanok
Sanhok Map
The Shanok map was designed by the PUBG team replicating the geographical regions of South east Asia. As the region has lush green forests, beautiful trees and islands with haunted houses, this map is very mysterious and adventurous and unlike the other maps.
The PUBG team had put in their best efforts to bring about the mind-blowing graphics on the Shanok map. This is unlike the other maps, which are graphics of the western world. The maps of Erangel and Miramar show the animation of countries like Australia and America. While you play in Shanok, it gives the ultimate experience of the portrait of the South.
It has a different experience with the smallest area and ultimate thrilling experience. Fighting in a smaller area adds to the adventures as it becomes competitive to fight in a 4x4 km map with 50% water area.
Vikendi
Vikendi Map
The Vikendi has specifications unlike all other maps. It has temperature which is below zero degrees. Therefore, the zone is covered with snow. It is designed very differently from the rest of the maps. The area is made covered with the snow whereas none of the maps have such specifications. including the houses covered with snow.
It gives a different view that feels totally different from the Erangel and the Sanhok. The map was designed keeping in mind the pace of Erangel. The weapons also change with the winter time.
The feet impressions are visible on the ground which can help an enemy track your location or vice versa. It is the incongruence about the Vikendi map which makes it different from other maps.
With an area of 6x6 km, it provides thrills and shivers at the same time to the PUBG Mobile players.
Miramar
Miramar
It provides the gaming experience of playing in a desert with everything different from the original Erangel. It has 8x8 km area but with the most land surface area in all the four maps.
A land area accounting for 80% of the total 64 km area of the map means more loot locations for the players. Therefore, the greater field calls for more action.
The players can enjoy different gaming experience in a single app of PUBG Mobile.
