1.Sony PlayStation and Insomniac Games’ Spider Man 2's sequel is confirmed

Yuri Lowenthal, the voice actor for Peter Parker in Marvel's Spider-Man 2, says he is currently working on the game's upcoming sequel. Furthermore, he entitled the game to be ‘massive’ and ‘astonishing’. Spider-Man 2 is a PlayStation 5 console game created by Insomniac Games in collaboration with Marvel Games and Playstation. The game is expected to be launched this Fall.

2. NVIDIA GeForce Now free one month membership offered to Destiny 2 Stadia players

Bungie sent free codes for Destiny 2 on Nvidia GeForce Now to its players just as Google Stadia officially shut down on January 18. The unique codes were mailed to Stadia’s Destiny 2 players along with the message, “Redeem your one-month code of a GeForce Now priority membership, for free.”

3. India made Indus: Battle Royale reveals gameplay

SuperGaming has just released the first gameplay trailer for Indus, their upcoming battle royale game. This gameplay trailer, released on Republic Day, gave us a closer look at Virlok, the game map for Indus. Pre-registrations for Indus is now live on Google Play for Android users. 

4. Honkai: Star Rail Closed Beta to start soon

Honkai: Star Rail, the upcoming game from Genshin Impact devs HoYoverse have announced in their latest update that the final closed beta is set to start on February 10, 2023. You can now sign-up for the upcoming beta testing  as registrations are now on. The Sign-Up closes on 2nd February which is in a week from now.  

5. Redfall launch date revealed

Arkane Studios has announced that their upcoming game Redfall is set to launch on May 2nd, 2023. A deep-dive into the gameplay and the world of Redfall was revealed at the Xbox Bethesda Developer Direct, showcased on 26th January. 

6. Minecraft Legends launch date revealed

Mojang announced that the spin-off of Minecraft, Minecraft Legends, is going to launch on April 18, 2023 at the Xbox Bethesda Developer Direct. The online PvP mode was also revealed and detailed. 

7. Elder Scrolls reveals details of next major content update

Elder Scrolls revealed details of the next major content update- Chapter Necrom, as a part of the Xbox Bethesda Developer Direct. Necrom will go back to Morrowind as the setting.The Arcanist will be the newest class addition. Additionally, all previous 20 chapters will be launching as limited time access free-to-play DLC. 

8. Hitman III is now Hitman: World of Assassination

Hitman The World of Assassination is now out, along with the awaited Freelancer mode. The World of Assassination brings all the three critically acclaimed Hitman games in one bundle. It  includes access to Hitman 1 and Hitman 2 through a Pass system. The Freelancer mode on the other hand, which is now live in Hitman, brings roguelite experience to the game.

9. Microsoft Activision deal was about to get cleared in EU

Latest reports have now revealed that the US FTC sued Microsoft for its Activision acquisition to stop the EU regulators from accepting the deal with a settlement. The EU regulators were reportedly ready to negotiate with Microsoft and approve their acquisition of Activision. 

10. Call of Duty: Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 changes announced for Season 2

Following the delay of Season 2 in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0, Activision has now shared a list of changes in the update. The list includes many quality of life changes to the multiplayer, battle royale and DMZ modes.
