1. Rainbow Six movie adaptation currently in development, with John Wick director Chad Stahelski and Michael B. Jordan

A Rainbow Six movie has now been confirmed to be in the making. The John Wick director, Chad Stahelski has reportedly been roped in for the project, along with Michael B. Jordan, as revealed by The Hollywood Reporter. This movie by Paramount will serve as the sequel to the 2021 action-thriller, Without Remorse, also based on Tom Clancy’s novel of the same name. 

2. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League leaked image reveals Battle Pass and XP

An image from the upcoming game, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, leaked on 4chan forum yesterday. It revealed the game’s menu, mentions a Battle Pass, and Loadout, and shows the missions-based structure. VGC confirmed with its sources that the leaked image is from a test build.

3. Fortnite servers go down briefly as Epic Games releases update v23.20 

Fortnite has confirmed that update v23.20 is now live and the servers are functioning once again. There was a brief login issue faced by players where they were getting a "Successfully logged out" error when they tried to get onto the game. That login issue has now been resolved. 4. Halo Infinite Joint Fire Event: All you need to know about the New Cosmetics and Challenges 

The first-person shooter game Halo Infinite has released this year's first free event, Joint Fire, which is a live in-game event. The Joint Fire event started on January 17 and will continue until January 31 (11:30 pm IST). This two-week event gives gamers various free cosmetic items by participating in Joint Ops. Some new Halo Reach skins and armour are also available as freebies. 

5. Kid LAROI enters the in-game radio of Fortnite, concert announcements looks imminent

Fortnite announced on Twitter that players can tune in to the Kid LAROI's Icon Radio takeover, which will feature some of his favourite songs. The tweet read, “What does The Kid LAROI listen to when he gets the Victory Royale?”

The official account of Fortnite further followed up the tweet with “And STAY tuned for more from the Kid LAROI later this month”, revealing that more is on the way. 

 

6. Forspoken PC system requirements revealed

As per the latest update from Forspoken developers at Luminous Productions, the game will require a minimum of 16GB RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 1060 (6GB VRAM). That is to run the game at the lowest preset of 720 p and 30FPS. To be able to run the game at 1440p, 30 FPS, a whopping 24 GB of RAM is required, supported by a minimum of NVIDIA RTX 3070 (8GB VRAM). 

 

7. Returnal PC release date, specs and features trailer revealed

8. PlayStation Store’s most downloaded games of 2022 have been revealed

Sony has released the most downloaded games of 2022 from the PlayStation Store. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 leads the chart in US and Canada. It’s the second most-downloaded game in Europe. 9. Microsoft confirms they will lay off 10,000 employees

Microsoft has confirmed plans to lay off around 10,000 employees. This staff cut will impact around 4.5% of Microsoft’s massive 220,000-person workforce. Microsoft said their layoffs will take place by the end of their third fiscal quarter which is on March 31, 2023.

10. F1 Driver Max Verstappen ragequits the 24 hours of Le Mans Virtual event and calls it a "clown show"

In a rage, Formula 1 driver Max Verstappen left the 24 Hours of Le Mans Virtual. During the event, he experienced several disconnections, raising several red flags. The F1 driver stated, “Honestly it’s a joke, you cannot call this an event, it's a clown show”. Verstappen concluded, “I think I’m going to uninstall the game. That’s nice.
