Dandadan’s latest episode surprises fans as Taro and allies team up to defeat Evil Eye in an action-packed and unpredictable showdown
The latest episode of Dandadan Season 2, called "That’s Like, Way Deadly," ended the cursed house story with a fight that got crazy fast. Momo is trying to stop all that volcanic mess from spreading, but Evil Eye still isn’t finished. He’s ready to kill her, no holding back. Many fans probably thought Okarun would show up and save the day, but he didn’t.
Instead, suddenly Mr. Mantis Shrimp shows up, flying a spaceship with Granny Seiko and, oddly, Taro the anatomy model. It looked funny at first, but somehow it all made sense later.
Crazy Moments, Funny Scenes, and Then Something Real
As soon as they land, Granny Seiko gets right to work. She swings her bat like crazy, hitting Evil Eye again and again, but he’s not going down. She doesn’t even react much. It’s hard to see even Seiko get pushed back. Then she gives Taro a signal, quiet but clear. And that’s when stuff gets weird.
Taro starts running toward Evil Eye. Not fast, more like silly sprinting. And with some dramatic music in the background (William Tell style), the whole thing feels like it’s going to be a joke. Taro traps Evil Eye with Spirit Trapping Seals he had inside him all along. Nobody saw that coming.
Even the Side Characters Gets Their Moments
What’s really interesting is how this moment shows Dandadan don’t forget anybody. People thought this battle was going to be just for Momo and Okarun. But then the ones they helped before show up to help them back. It shows that every character, even the strange ones, is important.

Taro didn’t seem like someone who would return after last season. But he did. And somehow, he was the one who made the biggest move. That’s kind of the magic of this show. Doesn’t matter if you’re human, spirit, or a walking model, everyone has something to add.
So with Evil Eye gone (for now?), fans are probably wondering what crazy twist comes next. But after this episode, one thing's for sure Dandadan never lets things go the way you think it will. And that’s why it’s worth watching.
