  • July 29, 2025 (UPDATED: July 29, 2025 16:29 IST)

My Hero Academia Final Season premieres October 4, 2025, with original staff and a new key visual.

My Hero Academia is now going into its last part, and already, some official people have been told that the FINAL SEASON is going to begin on October 4, 2025. They also put out one new key visual, what sort of gives some little peeks of what may happen next. Izuku and them classmates from U.A. they coming back again, and now the last story part doesn’t look so far anymore.

The team that did Season 7 they also working on this again. Kenji Nagasaki is again taking up that chief director role. This time, Naomi Nakayama the one doing the directing job. Studio Bones is still the one making all animation stuff, just like before. Yosuke Kuroda is still the one who is doing the whole writing and script parts, too. The character designing part was also still by Yoshihiko Umakoshi with Hitomi Odashima, and the music part once more came from Yuki Hayashi.

Everything is kinda staying the same, which is probably good for keeping the feel and style how fans know it. Crunchyroll says they are going to show the new episodes around the world same time as they come out in Japan. So fans can watch all the things just when it’s out.

Voting Open Now for the “Ultimate Scene Ranking” Thing

Along with this big final announcement, a special fan voting also starts. They're calling it “Ultimate Scene Ranking,” where people can go and pick which scenes they liked most from the full anime seasons. The voting is already open on the website and will stay till September 15, 2025. After that, maybe the results will come that show which moments were most remembered by the fans.

The anime is based on a manga that was already finished last year, in August 2024. It was running from July 2014 inside Weekly Shonen Jump. Over the years, this whole thing has become really big—there are already seven anime seasons, four movies, four games, and some spin-off manga too.

Also, in 2021, it was said that a live-action film is coming. That one is being directed by Shinsuke Sato and made by Legendary Entertainment. That one's come on Netflix, but we don’t know when exactly.

Right now, all old seasons of anime are still there on Crunchyroll. You can also watch movies like Two Heroes, Heroes Rising, and You're Next. And the spin-off series My Hero Academia: Vigilantes is there too. That one’s second season will come in 2026.

As everything gets closer to the end, fans can vote, rewatch old episodes, and just get ready for the final season. It’s been a long journey, and the last part may be the most emotional.
