Your notoriety will increase if you rob people, aggravate guards, or murder folks in Assassin's Creed Mirage. Three levels of notoriety increase your chances of being attacked on sight as each stage progresses. But we have got a way to rid of it.
Assassin’s Creed is all about committing crimes. However, sometimes these crimes can land you in trouble due to your rising notoriety meter. Your notoriety will increase if you rob people, aggravate guards, or murder folks in Assassin's Creed Mirage. The three levels of notoriety increase your chances of being attacked on sight as each stage progresses. With notoriety playing a crucial role, you’re likely wondering how to quickly lower your notoriety gauge in Assassin's Creed Mirage. Well! There are two methods by which you can lower down the meter of your notoriety level. What are those methods? Let's find out.
What is Notoriety?
If you are seen killing, stealing, or pickpocketing, you'll gain a bad rep as a common criminal as opposed to a skilled assassin. You'll see the notoriety bar glowing red in the bottom right of your screen. There are three levels of notoriety that you need to be aware of:
- Level 1: random passers-by may recognize you, and shout for guards.
- Level 2: archers patrol the rooftops, guards are more alert, and civilians are more likely to spot you (and thus shout for guards).
- Level 3: you’re relentlessly chased by elite soldiers — who will likely mess up your day.
Methods to Remove Notoriety in Assassin's Creed
Method 1: Remove Wanted Posters
The first and easiest step is to tear down those Wanted posters. They don’t show up on your map but will show up on your compass. Every wanted poster you find and remove will cause your notoriety to drop by one level.
Method 2: Offer Power Tokens to Town Speakers
The more efficient, but far more expensive, method for reducing notoriety is to bribe town criers known as Munadi. In exchange for one power token — a rare currency earned through completing side quests — they’ll eliminate your notoriety. Using a made-at-level 1 or 2 notoriety is not good because these power tokens are very rare. But if your notoriety level is 3 and you are finding it difficult to reduce then Munadi is the best method.
