Revenant has been temporarily removed from all Apex Legends modes in Season 25 due to a critical gameplay exploit.

Respawn Entertainment has recently temporarily disabled the Revenant across all game modes in the latest Season 25 update. This has been done due to the discovery of a significant in-game exploit pertaining to the character. The glitch made players wielding Revenant completely immune to damage. That includes damage from gunfire and grenades to damage from tactical attacks, ultimate capabilities, and environmental hazards.

This glitch had a significant effect on the gameplay, particularly in ranked and competitive games. Numerous players have reported experiences where opponents playing as Revenant were invulnerable, resulting in unfair wins and frustrating gameplay.

The glitch was soon popularized on social media and among the community, and the developers responded immediately.

Revenant was revamped in Season 18, bringing with it new skills like "Assassin's Instinct," "Shadow Pounce," and "Forged Shadows." These added to his usage across all skill levels. His defensive and mobility skills became great tools in intense moments.

The unintended side effects of these skills might have led to the recent problems.

Respawn has admitted the exploit and stated that they are looking into the underlying cause. Although there is no release date announced for Revenant's return, the developers have promised the community that a patch is underway. The removal is meant to maintain competitive integrity and provide a balanced experience for all players.

At the moment, players cannot choose Revenant in unranked, ranked, or limited-time event modes. The removal, temporary as it may be, reflects Respawn's dedication to prompt and firm action against gameplay problems.

Players are encouraged to watch official Apex Legends communication channels for news about Revenant's return. Fans continue to hold out hope for a speedy fix and the safe return of the popular Legend.

In the meantime, the roster will go on without Revenant as Respawn strives towards a stable fix.
