Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Announces Final Double XP Event for Season 3

Activision has confirmed that double XP weekend is happening this weekend, giving players a heads-up so they can finish different tasks in the last hour of the season. It will begin on Friday, May 23, 2025, at 10:00 AM PT and wrap up on Monday, May 26, 2025, at the same time. Since the event lasts only a few days, it is expected to encourage plenty of players to level up as the season changes.

Players will be able to level up twice as fast since they’re receiving Double Player XP and also Double Weapon XP during the Event. It should be noted that during this event, Double Battle Pass XP will be excluded, so you will earn at the normal rate for any progress with seasonal XP.

Season 3 which started on April 2, 2025, brought many new items, including soldiers can enjoy playing on the Barrage and Emergency maps, the powerful Ladra SMG ,and the short-term Joint Operations mode. By including new things, players had different experiences to play with and master all season.

 

Fans can expect Season 4 to begin on May 29, 2025, when it will offer more exciting stories. Teasers reveal that both "One in the Chamber" and some fresh additions like the LC10 SMG and the FFAR Assault Rifle will be in the new game. Expected these new attributes will boost the sense of excitement among the community.

To take full advantage of the XP event, players should enjoy Multiplayer and Zombies, since the extra XP will only work there. You don’t need to press any button manually; logging in while the promotion is on will activate the bonuses automatically.

Just before Season 3 ends, eager players have a final chance to level up and prepare for the start of the next story in Black Ops.
