The latest Counter-Strike 2 update is out, check out the major fixes done it it!

Counter-Strike 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the iconic first-person shooter, may have officially launched on September 27, but players have been encountering a slew of issues, glitches, and general problems. These challenges have been so frustrating that some professional players have openly advised against playing the game in its current state. Nevertheless, Valve, the developer behind Counter-Strike 2, has demonstrated a commitment to swiftly resolving these issues and improving the overall player experience.

The latest step in this ongoing effort is the Counter-Strike 2 October 9 update, which tackles a variety of player concerns. One of the most critical fixes in this patch addresses the severe hitbox misalignment issue that had raised doubts about the game's readiness for IEM Sydney, scheduled for October 20.

The patch also addresses several graphical glitches, including the bizarre appearance of feet when viewed through a scope, and animation inconsistencies that had been affecting the game's realism and fluidity. Furthermore, the update brings minor fixes and adjustments to popular maps Mirage, Vertigo, and Nuke, enhancing gameplay experiences on these iconic battlegrounds.

In a move aimed at improving the gaming experience for players in the Chengdu, China region, Valve has introduced an official matchmaking data center. This addition promises smoother and more responsive gameplay for Counter-Strike 2 enthusiasts in that area, further expanding the game's global reach.
