Crazed Pokemon card lovers remade the popular Charizard card on, while people are calling it cursed

A well-known Charizard card was rebuilt by Pokemon fans on r/place, and the outcome is rather cursed. Every year, the well-known r/place community on Reddit offers members a fully modifiable canvas on which to produce artwork over the course of a few weeks.

As soon as the annual event started, users started criticizing CEO Steve Huffman, and as the days went on, they grew more vocal about the need for stronger bot management. Pokemon fans have now arrived on r/place and have modified a Charizard card from the base set to make it seem very cursed.

Redditors make cursed base set Charizard card

Pokemon TCG players started flocking to r/place on July 23, 2024, in an effort to recreate the famous base-set shadowless Charizard card. It makes reasonable that fans would want to express their appreciation for it on r/place given that it is one of the most costly cards in the history of the game.

However, as users started changing it to add stuff like 420 HP and the German name for Charizard: Glurak, the end version quickly turned out to be very cursed. Other Pokemon enthusiasts have modified the card's wording in addition to adding Lapras, Blastoise, Gyrados, and Vaporeon to the canvas over the bottom portion of the iconic card.

At the time of writing, it is unquestionably one of the largest works of art that are still visible on r/place, and very few people are actively seeking to have it taken down. However, because the subreddit is continually evolving, it might vanish sooner rather than later.
