Escape from Tarkov latest update brings new 'Streets of Tarkov' map, wipe, new weapons, and more

A new update for Escape from Tarkov has been released, which introduces a brand-new map to the realistic multiplayer tactical shooter. Escape from Tarkov patch 0.13 is a major update, aimed at improving the gameplay, fix various bugs and bring quality of life changes to the game. Escape from Tarkov patch 0.13

Streets of Tarkov is the new map awaiting Tarkov players with the new update. This new map adds a significant part to the city of Tarkov. Streets of Tarkov is located at the intersection of Klimov Street and Primorsky Avenue. 

Players will find various new locations in this new map including “an abandoned factory, Pinewood Hotel, news agency building, Concordia residential complex, car dealership, Terracot Business Center, cinema, Sparzha supermarket, and other objects of urban infrastructure.”

Streets of Tarkov adds a substantial amount of urban atmosphere to the game and official patch notes reveal that the Streets of Tarkov map is just the “first part of the work on the city and later the location will be expanded.”

All players will lose progress and gear, and start from scratch

One of the most important pieces of information about this update, for both new and current players, is that the arrival of the new map comes with a wipe. This means that all players, including existing players, would start from scratch without any gear or progress.
