Esports World Cup Tekken 8 Tournament: A Grand Event

The Esports World Cup Tekken 8 tournament is set to be a spectacular event for fighting game fans. Starting on August 22, 2024, the tournament will run for four days, ending on August 25, 2024. It will take place at Boulevard Riyadh in Saudi Arabia.

Prize Pool and Participants
A total of 32 players will compete for a huge prize pool of $1,000,000. Many players have already qualified for the event through various tournaments:

Tournament Format
The tournament will be played in Tournament Mode with the following format:

Group Stage (Phase 1 and Phase 2):

Players will be divided into groups of four.
Each group will play in a Double Elimination Bracket (GSL-style).
The top two players from each group will move on to the next phase, while the others will be eliminated.
Matches will be best of three.
Final Stage (Phase 3):

The eight remaining players will compete in a Single Elimination Bracket.
Matches in this phase will be first to five wins.
