Months after the earlier announcement from the global football association back in May, FIFA has announced new FIFA Web 3.0 games. The reveal comes just in time for the 2022 World Cup, to engage fans as much as possible, banking on Web 3.0 companies like Altered State Machine, Upland Metaverse, Matchday, and Phygtl. While FIFA is busy experimenting with blockchains and Web 3.0, EA of the long-standing FIFA video game franchise is keeping it classic. AI League: FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Edition

Launching on 20th November, this is a mobile game where you’ll get to predict matches throughout the World Cup. Your predictions will earn you points which you can use to win prizes. Post World Cup, you’ll get to play in the AI League- a 4-on-4 casual football game. You can also collect and trade characters to make your own team, and pit them against other teams in the metaverse. 

FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 in the Upland Metaverse

If you’re missing out on being a part of the World Cup in person, here’s a chance for you to experience it, in the metaverse. Once it goes live on l 20th, as the World Cup kicks off, you can sign up free and ‘travel’ to Lusail Stadium. Once in, go crazy on the shops and showrooms within Upland.
