A new mode, the Tumult Subduer, has appeared in initial screenshots, in which there is a challenging multi-phase combat challenge for top-tier players. Unlike Spiral Abyss or Imaginarium Theater, which are known, this mode seems to have a different format, with a focus on boss battles that get progressively harder.

The leaked material shows that Tumult Subduer comprises three consecutive boss battles in the Bishui Plains of Liyue, namely within the ruins of Sal Terrae. Players will be compelled to battle against strong enemies like Hydro Tulpa: Turbulent Vortex, Lava Dragon Statue: Blazing Flame, and Secret Source Automaton: Overseer Device – Obliterator Panoply. Each battle presents new mechanics, compelling players to shift their approach and party builds accordingly.

One of the most impressive features of the mode is its dynamic difficulty system. Five levels of difficulty—Normal, Hard, Menacing, Fearless, and Mortal—are offered to select from, each offering increasingly richer rewards. Finishing it yields significant rewards, including Primogems, Hero's Wit, and Mora, making it a rewarding endeavor for those brave enough to attempt it.

Another feature is the artifact choice system, which enables players to select specific sets of artifacts as part of their rewards. This specific acquisition method could significantly simplify character development, especially for those players who want optimal builds.
