Googly has arrived in the Indian gaming sector with a lot to offer for esports enthusiasts and gamers.

Googly has arrived in the Indian gaming sector with a lot to offer for esports enthusiasts and gamers. Launched on February 1st, Googly will offer various features such as the ability to create customisable tournaments as well as creating a social hub for gamers to interact.

Googly CEO Shubhodip Pal told India Today Gaming earlier that “our mission is to pioneer a ‘multi-gaming platform’ across different devices with advanced features to engage game enthusiasts and democratise the gaming ecosystem by building the largest community of gamers in India.”

 Features

Shop and news section

This new platform will also look to provide various blogs featuring game guides, and tutorials. There’s also a shop section to purchase in-game items through the points you earn on the platform. Points can be earned by winning tournaments and engaging actively on the platform.

Tournaments

There’s a user-friendly tournaments manager, allowing players to easily create and manage their esports tournaments. Googly also has dedicated leaderboards, an esports bracket manager and chat forums.

From what we’ve seen from our experience of the platform, it’s not just for hardcore gamers and esports players. The platform looks to serve gamers of all kinds, and has something to offer for casual gamers through their chat forum and cloud gaming feature.

Cloud gaming and app

The GoPlay section on the platform has over 100 casual and hyper-casual games that can be played instantly through cloud.

To make it a seamless experience for users of the platform, there’s also an app available on the Google Play Store for Android. Googly has said that the iOS version of the app will be launched at a later date.

Head to Googly website if you wish to check out the platform.

Pricing

Googly, however, is not a free-for-all service. It follows a subscription model. Here are the pricing of Googly’s subscription tiers:

Our endeavour is to democratise gaming and make it accessible to all. Googly is an effort not only to ensure that gamers can easily access all their needs on a single platform, but also for all gamers to form their own unique communities and host custom tournaments to play with their friends."

He added, "Our platform is a ‘one-stop for everything gaming’ with its multi-feature sets available to all its users under one subscription. We at Googly are proud to present India a platform that is here to revolutionise the country’s gaming experience and become India’s largest gaming community.”
