Hitman creators IOI Interactive announces online fantasy RPG titled Project Fantasy

IOI Interactive has shared that they are now completely dedicated to Project Fantasy as a part of their latest announcement. Here's everything we know about this upcoming online fantasy RPG.
Shortly after the launch of World of Assassination, Hitman makers IOI Interactive have announced that they are now working on a new IP titled Project Fantasy. The new adventure that they are now embarking upon, involves an online fantasy RPG. They shared the news in a blog post on February 28, which also doubles up as a hiring call. IOI Interactive has built its brand for over a decade with the Hitman Trilogy and the World of Assassination. They are moving on to a highly contrasting genre- fantasy, as we have learnt from their latest announcement. IOI Interactive is now creating an online RPG that they are calling Project Fantasy. It is going to be a new IP “built from the core”, that they hope to “expand for many years to come”. They say, “IOI is going on a journey unlike any we have been on before.”
What will Project Fantasy include?
As for the subject of Project Fantasy, the blog post mentions the “Fighting Fantasy” series, and how members of the development team are highly inspired from it. It might also involve elements of a tabletop top game, with strong narrative elements.
“From the “Fighting Fantasy” books compelling you to choose your path, alone, against wizards, lizards, and thief kings. To the togetherness, camaraderie, agony, and delight found around the tabletop. Project Fantasy launch details
IOI Interactive is still hiring people for developing Project Fantasy, which means it is in early stages of production. However they have introduced their team associated with animation, art, design, production and tech departments with short videos. As for the launch date or window of release, nothing has yet been revealed or indicated.
