Get the latest scoop on Mortal Kombat 1's upcoming Khaos Reigns expansion, featuring new characters like Sektor, Cyrax, Noob Saibot, Conan the Barbarian, Ghost Face, and T-1000 Terminator, plus the return of Animalities.
Exciting news for all the Mortal Kombat Fans! As during the San Diego Comic Con, NetherRealm Studios revealed the next batch of its DLC characters. This new batch includes six new characters part of the Khaos Reigns expansion with three that are from the Mortal Kombat franchise, while the other three characters from iconic movies from the 1980s and ‘90s, like Ghost Face
The six new fighters coming to Mortal Kombat 1 in the new expansion are:
- Sektor
- Cyrax
- Noob Saibot
- Conan the Barbarian
- Ghost Face
- T-1000 Terminator
These character are set to release on September 24th as part of the Khaos Reigns expansion. This DLC will not only include the new characters but also a new story line that picks up after the events of Mortal Kombat 1 with Havok being the antagonist!
Sektor and Cyrax can be seen in new variations where now they are both women and instead of being cyborgs they appear to be humans in armoured suits! This has helped the characters stand out more and are now more in like with the rebooted universe of Mortal Kombat!
Lastly, Khaos Reigns reintroduces Animalities to Mortal Kombat. These unique finishers transform your character into different animals, allowing them to brutally devour, dismember, or impale their opponent. Essentially, they offer a new type of fatality that players can execute at the end of each match.
