League of Legends: Major Patch Notes Updates Leaked

The latest addition to the League of Legends roster is on the brink of entering the battlefield. Briar, the vampiric Noxian champion, has been a subject of anticipation for quite some time, and her official unveiling occurred earlier today.

Thanks to various leaks, we've been privy to glimpses of Briar's splash art for some time now. The player community has eagerly awaited more information about her character, particularly her gameplay details. Thankfully, with the complete revelation of this new champion, Riot Games has also published their Champion Insights blog, offering players a deeper understanding of the design process behind Briar.

Briar's Champion Insights delved into not only the champion's backstory and lore but also into the intricacies of her gameplay fantasy.

The focal point of this blog post revolved around Briar's in-game visual design. Sunny "Kindlejack" Pandita, the lead concept artist behind Briar, detailed the process of integrating the Noxian vampire into the game, complete with elements like pillories and stakes.

The developer explained, "The concept is that if she's truly formed through blood magic or living blood, her physique should resemble the lower portion of an I.V. bag or the contour of a blood droplet."

Briar is currently accessible on the Public Beta Environment and is scheduled to make her debut on the live servers with Patch 13.18, set to release on September 13, 2023.
