Madden NFL 23 Connected Franchise Mode Leagues lost; EA get's it back up and running with an update on storage issue faced by gamers

Players who logged into Madden NFL 23, the American Football Video Game on December 28 and December 29 encountered a data storage issue in which their files were corrupted. Players were experiencing errors in which the leagues were unavailable, resulting in the corruption of their Online Franchise, Face of the Franchise files, and Connected Franchise Mode Leagues (CFM).

Electronic Arts finally has a solid answer for its Madden 23 players on these developments and it's not a very sunny one at that. Read on to know more. 

Madden NFL 23 players facing problems with data storage 

The issue began on December 26 when players experienced difficulties logging into their CFM leagues. On December 27, Madden NFL tweeted that they were working on a solution. Later on December 28, Madden NFL Direct tweeted, “Users should now be available to play CFM without issue. If you continue to have trouble please contact EA Help or let us know.” 

But even after that the issue wasn’t really resolved as the players faced a major data issue where their files were corrupted.

Latest Update from EA 

Electronic Arts said that they are actively working to restore some files through a backup. However, EA has informed that they won't be able to recover all the league progresses that players lost. They've informed in a community discussion forum that “Not all affected leagues can be restored. The team is currently projecting around 40% of leagues to be recovered.” They not recommend to start a new franchise since they're latest update informs that the "mode is up and running". 

Players who did not login during the window however have not been affected by the issue.
