The company has already shared the launch details about the device along with pre-orders on its website. The company has showcased the discounted rate for the Series S on a page dedicated to its Big Billion Days Sale. This sale is set to kick-off from October 16. Microsoft Xbox Series S discount details
According to a report from Gadgets 360, Flipkart revealed the discounted price for the sale. It will sell the Series S for Rs 29,999 instead of the original announcement price for Rs 34,999. However, Microsoft has still listed pre-orders for the console at the original price. As per the announcement, the Xbox Series S will land in India along with Series X on November 16. It is also worth noting that the Rs 29,999 price corresponds to the 512GB storage variant. It is unclear if this is a bank offer, a time-limited Flipkart-backed order, or more.
Considering that both Microsoft and Flipkart are still listing pre-orders at Rs 34,999; it likely appears to be time-limited. However, regardless of the duration, the reduced price will appeal to the section of users interested in getting the Series S. For some context, the Microsoft Series X will go on sale for Rs 49,990. The company has already clarified the differences between both the consoles. Looking back, the Series S is meant for casual gamers looking to game at 2K resolution. On the other hand, the Series X will offer gaming experience at 4K resolution.
The new Microsoft Series X and Series S consoles will also come with the latest generation controller. Official Flipkart listing for the Series S outlined a 5 percent cashback offer on purchase with Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card or Axis Buzz Credit Card. To clarify, the Microsoft India website redirects users to Flipkart or Amazon India to make the pre-order. Both the websites are offering the console at the original price.
