OnePlus 8T x Cyberpunk 2077 Edition lands with a new design, 12GB RAM and 256GB storage

OnePlus has just launched a new time-limited version of its latest flagship smartphone in the market, the OnePlus 8T. The company likely teamed up with CD Projekt Red to craft this special edition of the OnePlus 8T. (We have reached out to OnePlus for an official confirmation). This edition of the device is called OnePlus 8T x Cyberpunk 2077 Edition. As part of the launch, we finally got to see the design of the device after several teasers. As noted in a previous report, the OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 edition of the smartphone features a unique look. In addition, we also get top of the line hardware along with the unique design. According to the information available online, the company revealed the pricing, specifications, and availability of the device. Looking closely, OnePlus has redesigned the back panel of the device to feature a large glass camera island on the top half. Users will also get a textured Grey finish in the middle portion and a glossy finish at the bottom. In addition, the back panel also features a faint-Yellow outline on the edges along with a “Cyberpunk” branding. The design renders confirm that the 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Edition camera island is larger in size than the regular variant. However, the actual placement of the camera lenses has not changed. The design also confirmed that the camera island will also come with “Cyberpunk 2077” branding.

Moving beyond the hardware, the device will also feature a Cyberpunk 2077-themed HydrogenOS skin. This includes the icons, the accent colors, Boot screen, and more. We also saw that the company has added multiple Cyberpunk-themed items inside the box. These include an “exclusive” case, and multiple OnePlus and Cyberpunk stickers.

Specifications-wise, the device will feature Snapdragon 865 SoC with 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It will also feature a 6.55-inch Fluid AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. OnePlus has also paced the device with a quad-camera setup on the back with 48MP, 16MP, 5MP, and 2MP sensors. The front features a 16MP sensor beyond hardware specifications like Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, and more. We also get a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast-charging and a USB Type-C port. Finally, OnePlus has priced the 8T x Cyberpunk 2077 Edition for 3,999 RMB or about Rs 44,500. The pre-orders are already live as the device is set to go on sale on November 11. OnePlus has only limited the device to the Chinese market with no plans for an international launch.
