The second season of Overwatch 2 is all about Greek mythology. Since its launch on December 5, Ramattra is the latest hero to join the roster. Apart from the new skins and map, Winter Wonderland is the latest event, which ends today. But that also means a new mode coming in, starting tomorrow. Battle of the Olympus is to kick off on January 5, bringing in new powers for the heroes, new modes, and more. Battle for Olympus 2023- Details
Battle for Olympus is a time-limited event, set to start tomorrow as Winter Wonderland wraps up. It is essentially a new deathmatch mode that will be live in the game starting January 5, up until January 19. The highlight of this mode will be exciting new powers for 7 different heroes in the game. The official trailer for Battle for Olympus 2023 shows heroes like Widowmaker and Roadhog. Overwatch 2 Battle for Olympus- Rewards
As you might have noticed in the trailer, along with the powers, Blizzard will be rewarding us “divinely” too. Though no official information is yet out on these rewards, Blizzard does inform that the hero with most eliminations will be honored with a statue in Ilios”. That’s something to be vying for.
Battle for Olympus 2023 goes live tomorrow January 5, till January 19. However, following the limited-time mode, we will have the Lunar New Year event for 2023. The Lunar New Year event will go live on January 17 to February 6 as a part of Overwatch 2’s Season 2. As for Season 2, it is expected to end on February 7.
