Will the PlayStation lover ever going to witness slim design
There have been rumors circulating about a PS5 Slim model, and it seems that Microsoft may have accidentally confirmed this in a recent court document. According to the document, Sony plans to release a PlayStation 5 Slim later this year at the same price as the Digital Edition console.
However, Sony has not yet officially acknowledged this information. According to Wccftech a well-known insider in the gaming industry, shared on Twitter that the rumored Slim console may not be the compact version that many are anticipating.
The inside took his Twitter handle and wrote, "I've only seen prototypes. I don't think it will be "slim" at all. Just slightly different dimensions but we'll see."
Further, he wrote, "I don't know anything about the recent PlayStation Slim rumors and when it will be revealed. Logically, with a release set for September, a reveal soon makes sense. As for if it will be called the "Slim" or not, I'm inclined to believe it will just be called a PS5 and branded as an improved model. It's my understanding that this new model will completely replace the current PlayStation 5 with the last units hitting shelves by the end of the year."
That's quite intriguing. If the information he's sharing turns out to be accurate, then the modifications may not have a significant impact on the console's dimensions, which seems to go against the purpose of the changes. However, it's important to approach this information cautiously since Sony has not yet verified its validity.
