Sentinels have removed Hunter 'Sick' Mims from its Valorant squad ahead of the VCT Americas Last Chance Qualifiers. This move from the Sentinels indicates the preparation of the team as they look to finalize its roster for the competition.

In a recent development, the Sentinels have removed Hunter "Sick" Mims from their valiant squad ahead of the VCT Americas Last Chance Qualifiers. This move from the Sentinels indicates the preparation of the team as they look to finalize their roster for the competition. The LCQ tournament is scheduled to commence on July 15.

Hunter "Sick" Mims has been the talk of the town for his erratic behavior on social media. The player was arrested for criminal trespassing in March 2023 after an altercation at the Ferrari showroom. The player was suspended by the organization after the incident. He also spent 11 days in prison for his misdeeds. Following his release, the player continued to behave strangely on live streams and social media.

On May 8, Sick was arrested again on similar charges of criminal trespassing; however, he was released within 24 hours of the arrest. Following his second arrest, Twitch banned the player for 10 days from its platform. His former teammates claimed that the player was going through tough times and needed support to get out of them. Despite all of this, Hunter "Sick" Mims continued to be part of the Sentinels as a benched player. Now, the player has been officially removed from the roster.

On June 1, Sick took to Twitter to seek an apology from the fans for the offensive comments he had made in the past few months. The player said that some of his comments went too far and later apologized for them. He mentioned deleting all the trash comments posted on social media. He also informed his fans about the therapy sessions for which the Sentinels have agreed to pay.

Following the removal of Sick from the Valorant roster, the Sentinels have added Jimmy ‘Marved’ Nguyen as his replacement. Marved has previously been part of Optic Gaming as a substitute player. The player has been added to the Sentinels' roster ahead of the VCT Americas LCQ. The tournament will feature seven squads that failed to qualify for VCT Masters Tofkyo and Valorant Champions 2023.

It is important to note that the removal of Sick from the Valorant roster has not been addressed by the Sentinels yet. The player's future seems uncertain, as he might opt for streaming as a full-time career.
