An image leaked from a recent test build of the game showing the menu with the four heroes, and more. Here are the details on the latest leak from Rocksteady and DC's Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

Yesterday an image from Rocksteady’s upcoming game, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, leaked online. From the looks of it, the leaked picture seems to be a page taken out of a menu of some sort in the game. The leak has now led to fans speculating the existence of a battle pass and the game involving live service. Here’s more on these developments.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Menu image leaks online- Details

An image from the upcoming game, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, leaked on 4chan forum yesterday. Rumor has it that it is a look at the game’s menu, mentions a Battle Pass, Loadout, and shows the Missions based structure. Videogames Chronicle has confirmed with their sources that it is indeed a screenshot from a recent test build. Therefore if it really includes a “Battle Pass”, will Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League have live-service?

Answering this question that has riddled fans the past couple of hours, VGC confirms via a “development source” that the game will indeed include a Battle Pass. However, it will reportedly be focusing on cosmetic items and skins, rather than building on the gameplay.

XP grind in Suicide Squad: KTJL explained

Additionally, we can also see random numbers scattered across the menu and what are probably “currencies” in the leaked image. This has led fans to wonder if Suicide Squad will end up being another numbers’ game where grinding is preferred. On those lines, VGC has confirmed that while XP will exist to customize and upskill your heroes, “You don’t start off debuffed and weak. You just start off great and can get ridiculous, like Arkham Knight’s Batman.”

Yes, we can expect more of these comparisons with Arkham Trilogy to come up given that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is set in the same universe, from the same creators. In fact, this is the last game where Kevin Conroy reprised his role as Batman after the Arkham Trilogy. The game’s now set to launch on May 26th, 2023, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Till then, check out the official reveal trailer of the Dark Knight launched by DC and Rocksteady, honoring Kevin Conroy.
