Tekken 8 would witness the return of another amazing character soon!

As part of the hype, the marketing for Tekken 8 has been nothing short of inspired. Recently, Brian Cox, the star of Succession, made a striking appearance in a trailer that recapped the Tekken story. This recap serves as a dark and twisted reminder of the longstanding rivalry within the Mishima family, setting the stage for the epic clash between Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama in the upcoming installment. The anticipation is palpable as fans prepare for the release of Tekken 8, eager to experience the hard-hitting, adrenaline-pumping action that the franchise is known for. 

The King of the Iron Fist Tournament in Tekken 8 is shaping up to be one fierce competition, with a roster that's nothing short of diverse and packed with iconic fighters. The unveiling of characters has been a gradual and exciting process over the past year, giving fans a taste of what's to come.

Two of the latest additions to the Tekken 8 roster are Alisa Bosconovitch and Panda. Alisa, an android with a mission to protect the world, brings her formidable mechanical weapons into the fray, promising a unique and powerful fighting style. On the other paw, Panda, the loyal pet and bodyguard of Ling Xiaoyu, is no slouch in the combat department, with powerful blows that draw comparisons to the fellow Tekken bear warrior, Kuma. With each character reveal, the anticipation for Tekken 8 continues to build, promising an eclectic mix of fighting styles and stories.

Zafina is making a grand entrance back into the arena in Tekken 8, and a new trailer on the official Bandai Namco Entertainment America YouTube channel is turning up the excitement. The trailer showcases Zafina's demonically-empowered moves as she engages in fierce battles against the longstanding Tekken antagonist, Kazuya Mishima, and the returning fighter, Claudio Serafino.

Zafina's fighting style, the "Ancient Assassination Arts," is highlighted, and it's no ordinary technique. Augmented by the ancient demon Azazel sealed within her left arm, Zafina unleashes spider-like movements that keep her opponents on their toes. However, the real kicker comes when Azazel can no longer be contained. During her Special Move, the demon releases its full power, crushing Zafina's opponent in its formidable grasp. The trailer gives fans a taste of the intensity and power that Zafina brings to Tekken 8, promising thrilling battles and jaw-dropping special moves.

Zafina's journey in the Tekken series has been one filled with a mission to protect and control the ominous demon, Azazel. Fans first encountered her in Tekken 6, where she took on the responsibility of guarding Azazel's tomb and defeating the awakened demon during the global war led by Jin and the Mishima Zaibatsu.

Despite Jin and Lars seemingly destroying Azazel, Zafina, with her unique abilities, sensed the demon's lingering existence. In a bold move, she sealed Azazel inside her own body until she could cut off the source of its power: Jin and Kazuya Mishima. This complex plotline unfolds across Zafina's mainline appearances in Tekken 6 and Tekken 7, as well as her playable role in the non-canon Tekken Tag Tournament 2.
