Apex Legends Mobile, the title which was recent shut down globally is going to be launched soon in China by Tencent Games.

It's been two weeks since Respawn shut down the servers of Apex Legends Mobile, the game failed to complete its one year anniversary. In the meantime, Tencent Games has announced a dedicated Chinese version of the game that is currently under its developing phase. It is important to note that Tencent Games was also one of the publisher of the global version of Apex Legends Mobile alongside EA Sports and Respawn.

According to a prominent leaker TheLeakerBot, Tencent Games is developing a Chinese version of Apex Legends Mobile. The game is scheduled to launch in the second half of 2023. Prior to the launch, Tencent is planning to bring the beta version of the title in June 2023 for the testing purpose. The leaks also suggest that Apex Legends Mobile will be launched with a new name called "High Energy Heroes".

It has been revealed that the game has already got clearance from the Chinese authorities to get launched in the country. China has strict rules and regulations and launching a new title in the country is considered as one of the toughest tasks. Now, it would be important to see whether the Chinese Apex Mobile has been developed only by Tencent or in a partnership with EA and Respawn.

Currently, there isn't any gameplay video of the Chinese Apex Mobile available on the internet. However, as we would get closer to the beta date, we would get more clarity on the game. It is important to note that the game would be China exclusive, hence, players in other countries won't be able to access it. However, connecting to different servers via VPN might come in handy during the launch.

The global version of Apex Legends Mobile was launched in May 2022, and was shut down on May 1, 2023. The title failed to complete one year in the market due to low player base and revenue. Now, since the game is getting launched in China in a fresh new avatar, it would be interesting to see how it will survive in the presence of major titles including Game For Peace, Arena of Valor and Mobile Legends.
