The International 2023 Format:

The International 2023 features a format designed to challenge the world's best Dota 2 teams and showcase their skills. Here's the complete format of The International 2023:

Group Stage: Phase One:

Twenty teams are divided into four groups, each consisting of five teams.
A single-stage round-robin format is used.
All series are best-of-two (Bo2).
The top two teams from each group advance to Phase Two.
The bottom team from each group is eliminated from the event.

Phase Two: Main Event:

The Main Event is split into two parts.
The first part runs from October 20 to 22, 2023.
The second part, the Finals weekend, takes place from October 27 to 29, 2023.
Sixteen teams enter the double-elimination bracket.
The Grand Final is a best-of-five (Bo5), while all other matches are best-of-three (Bo3).
