Meta: While the 2023 Valorant esports season concluded on a high note with Evil Geniuses securing the Champions trophy, marking a significant milestone by clinching North America's first world championship title in the game!

This year proved to be pivotal for Riot Games' title, as it attracted a growing viewership to the esports scene, and numerous players emerged as noteworthy contenders or solidified their positions as top competitors.

The year 2023 commenced with captivating storylines, such as the reconstruction of teams like LOUD and others, the emergence of powerhouse squads like Fnatic and NAVI, and the dramatic narrative surrounding Cloud9 and yay's departure from the roster. These developments injected excitement and intrigue into the Valorant competitive landscape, contributing to the dynamic and evolving nature of the esport.

· Demon1 aka Max Mazanov: At the Valorant World Championships, Demon1 conquered the obstacles that had hindered his performance and emerged as a dominant force against the competition. His performance throughout the event was nothing short of exceptional, as he attained the highest VLR rating, Kill/Death ratio, Kills Per Round, and headshot percentage. Additionally, he secured a spot in the top five for Average Combat Score and ranked second in Average Damage Per Round. Notably, Demon1 achieved the milestone of recording the first-ever series with over 100 kills against LOUD, amassing a staggering 101 kills across five maps.

· Alfajer aka Emir Beder: One of the first Fnatic players to make an appearance on this list, Alfajer has consistently played a crucial role for his team. Hailing from Turkey, Alfajer may not boast the flashiest playstyle, but his consistent ability to secure multiple kills in a round or hold down entire sites for his team has proven to be invaluable.

· Leo aka Leo Jannesson: In the 2023 season, Leo's inclusion in Fnatic's roster has proven to be a game-changer, as he has swiftly transformed into an imposing force within the team's constellation of young talents and a high-caliber In-Game Leader (IGL). Leo's role as an Initiator player has seen him adopt a supportive stance within Fnatic's gameplay, predominantly assuming the responsibility of using scan Initiators and adopting a more reserved approach during initial engagements

· Aspas aka Erick Santos: The Duelist player from LOUD has garnered acclaim from analysts due to his exceptional micro decision-making abilities. Even in the face of adversity, such as the departure of two players from his squad during the offseason, this Brazilian teenager has consistently maintained his status as LOUD's standout player. A striking example of his prowess was demonstrated during their best-of-five series against DRX at VCT LOCK//IN, where he contributed a staggering 93 kills for his team.

· Derke: Derke's exceptional performance during VCT LOCK//IN positioned him as the third-best-rated Jett player, an accomplishment that was further emphasized by the fact that he participated in the most rounds while assuming the Agent's role. He continued to deliver outstanding gameplay throughout VCT EMEA, Masters Tokyo, and Valorant Champions, showcasing his consistent brilliance on the global stage.
