A leaker on Twitter, going by the name of Danny Intel, has revealed that Valorant Mobile has started its Alpha tests in China. Along with the news, leaked a couple of screenshots from the mobile version of the flagship title from Riot Games. These include the first looks of the starting screen, loading screen, the lobby, and more. The leaks from April 7th confirm that Valorant Mobile is right on track with its development phase. A brief background of Valorant Mobile- when will the game release?

Valorant Mobile was first announced last year in June, right when the game completed its first anniversary. Anna Donlon, the Executive Producer of Valorant revealed it saying, “To see our growing player community recognize and appreciate what we’re trying to do with Valorant is beyond what we could’ve expected and we’re thrilled to soon offer the same competitive Valorant experience to even more global players.” Back then, Valorant PC was reportedly being played by 14 million gamers each month.

However, no official date of release has yet been announced. Though the fact that the game has entered its alpha stage is testimonial of its progress. Fans can expect to see the title sometime soon on their mobile screens.

Some information had leaked earlier in February on the Beta testing as well. ValorLeaks revealed that it was to use an invite system. They also added that though it is something to look forward to, the Beta is 'probably still months away'. 

What will Valorant Mobile be like?

From the screenshots shared, we get to see glimpses of the loading screen, log-in screen, agent selection screen, the lobby or the starting screen and a screenshot from Ascent. It can be figured that the animations are pretty similar, but the PC version has much better graphics. Given the fact that the game is just getting started with its tests, the drop in quality is justified.

We can see Agents Jett, Phoenix, Reyna, Breach, Skye, Sova, and Killjoy as playable characters. It is possible that there will be more Agents.

The map in the top left corner suggests that this is a screenshot from a Deathmatch in the game. The Agent here is Jett, as it is her skills that we can see represented in individual buttons.
