"What a joke": Controversial update sparks outrage as Call of Duty: Warzone 2 players uninstall in mass numbers

Bad update caused players to uninstall Call of Duty: Warzone 2, while some showed anger and frustration on Reddit.

Recently, as a developers of a popular game, Call of Duty: Warzone 2, launched a new update, it ignited a wave of anger and frustration among players. Unfortunatly, its leading to a significant number of players uninstalling the Call of Duty.

Some user described the update "disgusting" and "outrageous." While some has raised concerns about the direction the game is taking and has left fans frustrated and confused as the decisions made by the development team.

Since the news of uninstalling came out many rumors surrounding this controversy broke out and showed direct implications it holds for the future of Call of Duty: Warzone 2.

The Fallout from the Update:

The update in question made several changes to gameplay mechanics, weapon balancing, and various other elements within the game. However, these alterations were met with strong backlash from players who felt that the changes significantly impacted the overall gameplay experience.

Since its launch, players have expressed dissatisfaction with various aspects of the game, including the maps and the footstep audio.

Many took to social media platforms and gaming forums to express their dissatisfaction, citing issues such as overpowered weapons, frustrating glitches, and imbalances in matchmaking. Meanwhile, some users on Reddit quoted, "What a joke. How can they get it so wrong - it’s tragic the state of what they have just released. Disgusting,” 

On the other hand, one wrote, “This is outrageous. […] Don’t get me wrong, I love The Boys, it's a great show. I kinda got excited the first time I found the Vought kit. But now... my fps dropped to 40, there are people flying around, people kill me with bolts coming out of their hands and it's just… not right."

“I can't do it anymore. I just wanna play Warzone with my friend, but I have to constantly bend to the will of the playlist, playing quads with a squad of two. Then, when they add duos back, they throw in superpowers and take away Al Mazrah. I passionately hate what Warzone has become. It was a fun ride, but I am done. No longer will I suffer,” kingkresus said

Well-known Call of Duty streamer Dr Disrespect even went as far as labeling it "the worst Call of Duty ever" and expressed doubts about its longevity, suggesting that it may eventually fade away.

Consequences of bad comments

As a result of the discontentment, a significant number of players have taken the drastic step of uninstalling Call of Duty: Warzone 2 from their gaming devices. This mass exodus of players is a clear indication of the extent to which the update has adversely affected their enjoyment and overall perception of the game.

The departure of these players not only impacts the player base but also poses a challenge for the game's developers to regain the trust and loyalty of their audience.
