Valorant: Velocity Gaming secures third sport in the PVP Open Championship Finals

Velocity Gaming got the chance to represent India in the event after it won the India Today League: Valorant Cup a few months back. Let’s check out the details around the finals for the PVP Open Championship here.

Velocity Gaming, one of the top Valorant teams in India just secured the third spot in PVP Open Championship Finals. The eSports team took part in the regional finals for the Season 2 of the PVP eSports Open Championship. As part of the finals, the Indian team took on the best teams in Asia to test its skill. It won three of its five matches to win the second runner-up spot. Velocity Gaming is the first Indian team to represent India on the global stage for Valorant. The team got the chance to represent the country after it won the India Today League: Valorant Cup a few months back. Velocity Gaming comes third in the PVP Open Championship Finals for Valorant; details

As mentioned above, the team played five matches throughout yesterday to try and proceed to the next stage. It started with a comprehensive win against B-Beasts from Myanmar with a final score of 13-2. During the second match, Velocity Gaming secured its second win with a 13-4 victory over Attack all Around from Thailand. The team lost its third game while playing against Bren eSports, the team from the Philippines with a score of 7-13. It lost its second match against XCN from Indonesia with a score tally of 11-13.

In the final match, the team secured a convincing win against Inner Voice, the team from Singapore with a score of 13-5. Looking at its losses, Velocity Gaming tried to beat Bren eSports, the favorites for the finals. In fact, Bren eSports managed to achieve the top spot during the regional finals. Beyond this, XNC got the second spot as part of the competition.

The team also issued an official statement on its social media channels regarding the result of the competition. Velocity Gaming stated that tried its “best” to win the competition. Keeping the result in mind, it stated that the team will “come back stronger” to nab first place in the future. In the meantime, the team will work on fixing the flaws in its strategy while winning more titles.
