Valorant Act 3 and India servers live; details

As per the details of the update; we got a new map along with a new season of ranked mode. We also got all the changes that the previous report had noted in the competitive aspect of the game. Other additions include the battle pass, and Sky, the latest agent coming to join the game. The company also noted that the update introduced an issue after the rollout of the update. This issue prevented players from purchasing the Battle Pass in the game. We also got a hotfix to patch this issue but that update introduced a new problem in the game. As outlined in the latest tweet on the official Valorant Twitter handle, the hotfix introduced micro-stutters in the game.

Riot Games stated that fixing the micro-stutter is the top priority of the developer at the time of writing. Looking at the details of the hotfix, the company tried to fix audio lag on the new Icebox map. Other fixes include fixing “map loading screens”, a client crash bug, and an issue related to game datacenter text. This is a significant issue across the globe as Riot Games directly pushes out the updates to the game without any optional install options. We will have to wait for the fix for a better gameplay experience. You can check out more details around all the changes in the official blog post from Riot Games.

Finally, the highlight of the update for Indian players is the introduction of the Indian servers in Mumbai. These servers came after a long long time for interested Valorant players in India. Local servers mean lower ping time, better gaming experience, a more competitive (and level) playing field and more. The company confirmed that the Mumbai servers will be part of the South East Asia shard. Players in India, Srilanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Malaysia, and Bhutan will connect to the Mumbai servers.
