During his China visit, Apple CEO Tim Cook attended Where Winds Meet’s play through event with the game’s CEO, William Ding.
Tim Cook was present at the event as the chief guest and saw the game’s new content and how it works on the latest iPad.

Recognizing China's growth in the world of artificial intelligence, Tim Cook toured the country, including Hangzhou, DeepSeek’s birthplace and experienced the AI technology first hand.
Since the game is available to play on iOS devices, both Cook and Ding saw the gameplay live in action on Apple’s iPad and experienced how the game’s ray tracing worked on it.

Where Winds Meet Release Date
For now, the game is available only in China, but is slated for a worldwide release in fall of 2025. After its worldwide release, the game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile devices.
