ARK: Survival Ascended Unveils Extinction Expansion and Bob’s Tall Tales DLC Finale

Wild card’s ARK: Survival Ascended next big update has been revealed on their official youtube channels. The next expansion is the Extension map. Extension is one the most well received and loved by the player base and to see that as a final polished product fans are excited.

 

What does tre Reveal contain?

The release video contains gameplay snippets from both the expansion map and the third part of Bob's Tall Tales. This final addition of Bob’s Tall Tales DLC will have post-apocalyptic cosmetic skins for all the structures along with a few other additions. 

The first two parts of the DLC have Cosmetic skins and few gameplay additions in the Wild Western theme and Steampunk theme. Thus ending this paid DLCs release and with more exciting DLC planned to be released.

Changes to the Game with the Release

Extinction Expansion Map

The first part of the video has gameplay snippets of the final release version of the expansion map. And it  also shows the dinos with corruption on them along with the final release models of the Titans. The scene with Forest Titan looks visually stunning. And the change from its early . access release has not changed much. Except for these, nothing much is revealed when the patch notes of the release are posted, then we will know what major changes have Wild Card added to the release version of the  game.

Bob’s Tall Tales 3

In this release of the expansion of the DLC the developers have fully embraced the theme of Post apocalyptic setting for their game. The first major change starts with the addition of the Buggys to the game making it a new for of transportation along, with a new companion pet which is dog.

Along with these battle arenas are being added where players are forced to fight among themselves against a dino. This makes PvP servers and their experience more fun. Which makes players act as a clan and they have added clan style capturing bases, a new form of gameplay in the servers.

Another major addition is that players can equip their buggies with launchers and other weapons to their buggy making their survival in the maps more fun. These additions can help players in capturing dinos or hunt down other players on the map. The additions are explosive spears, oil spill, grenade launcher and many more.

The companion pet dog helps the players in digging out treasures and maybe warn the players of dangers and enemy players. 

Wild Card many more updates for the game only post the release of the map  and DLc will be known. Whatever they might be, players are expected to be surprised and be enjoyed with it. Presently the update is live on steam for players to enjoy.
