Batman: Arkham Shadow Release Date & Features for Meta Quest VR

The wait is finally over for Batman fans! Months of anticipation have finally come to an end. Meta and developer Camouflaj have announced the release date for Batman: Arkham Shadow. This game represents a new chapter in the vastly popular Arkhamverse. Meta Quest 3 and Meta Quest 3S VR headsets will be receiving this great adventure on October 22.

This prequel takes place before Arkham Asylum and puts the players in the middle of an exhilarating storyline with a new evil, the Rat King, and some old faces: Scarecrow, Two-Face, and Harley Quinn.

Batman Arkham Shadow drops into the Fourth of July setting, introducing the infamous urban menace by the name of Rat King. His minions go about wreaking havoc on the city, and it's up to Batman to put an end to their "Day of Wrath" before Gotham falls into chaos. Combining the old dark Gotham atmosphere with immersive VR experience will place players right at the heart of the action.

As its official designation places it in the Arkhamverse, this takes place before the game's storyline of the first title, Arkham Asylum. So, long-time fans experience Batman's earlier days in regards to his rogues' gallery.
