Zetian is the new mage-type hero in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, with a versatile toolset to deliver high AoE burst damage and utility. She is deadly both in solo queue as well as in team play, dealing magic damage, crowd control, and survivability. This guide will explain her skills, best item builds, emblem choices, and combos for June 2025.

Zetian’s Skills Overview

• Passive – Celestial Armament: Zetian gains Spell Vamp or life steal from using her abilities, allowing her to sustain. The passive also features a knockback and a shield that scales, great for duelling assassins.

• Skill 1 – Phoenix Strike: It sends out a wave that increases in power and grants movement speed, with a slight pull on the third wave. Useful for poking and wave clears.

• Skill 2 – Phoenix Descent: Summons a spirit that slows enemies and reduces their magic defence. It can be recast to deal more damage and slow again.

• Ultimate – Fury of the Phoenix: Reveals all enemies, stuns them for a short duration, deals burst magic damage, and grants bonuses to movement speed for teammates, making it perfect for starting or ending team fights.

Best Items for Zetian

• Magic Boots: Movement and CDR.

• Enchanted Talisman: Mana regen and CDR for more frequent skill use.

• Concentrated Energy: Spell vamp for sustain during fights.

• Glowing Wand: Damage over time, perfect for long-enduring fights.

• Wishing Lantern: Helps with shredding burst on tanky enemies.

• Divine Glaive: Great magic penetration.

• Optional: Blood Wings for burst or Ice Queen Wand for slower effects.

Recommended Emblem and Battle Spells

• Use the Custom Mage Emblem focusing on Rupture - Adaptive Penetration. 

• Good choices for talents are Weapon Master or Bargain Hunter.

Start the fight safely with Phoenix Descent to slow enemies and reduce their defences. Then goes Phoenix Strike for damages, followed by the Ultimate to reveal enemies, stun them, and buff the team. Skills can be cast freely when this Ultimate is channelled, implying that all damage and control can be maximised.
