Borderlands 4 pre-orders are live for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Check out all editions, prices, release date, and exclusive bonus content.
So now, 2K and Gearbox has finally revealed the editions for Borderlands 4 and pre orders are open on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and also PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). It’s gonna be launching at $69.99, which is bit unexpected since some thought it might go $79.99 like few other games. And yes, it's not on Switch yet — but there's plan for it later on next year probably.
Standard Edition – $69.99
-
Comes with the main game only
-
And there’s this pre-order thing called the Gilded Glory Pack which includes stuff like Vault Hunter Skin, Weapon Skin and something for the drone (ECHO-4 I think)
-
Release date is September 12, 2025, just to keep in mind
Deluxe Edition – $99.99
So this one is kind of a step up from the base edition. It’s gonna include:
-
Everything from the Standard
-
An extra weapon skin called Firehawk’s Fury
-
And also, something called the Bounty Pack Bundle — basically 4 DLCs after launch, bringing new maps, missions, bosses and all that kinda stuff
-
Plus there's Vault Cards (whatever that means), for more gear and rewards and things
Super Deluxe Edition – $129.99
Now this is where things get bit more packed. It has all Deluxe stuff and also:
-
The Ornate Order Pack (which is cosmetic, 4 skins and character designs)
-
And something they call Vault Hunter Pack, which adds 2 new playable characters and 2 more story DLCs. Probably more areas, upgrades, and cosmetics too.
What’s the Platforms & When’s It Coming
-
Release happens on September 12, 2025, across PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Steam and Epic both got it listed already.
-
The Switch 2 version is not arriving now, but it’s going to show up late 2025 or maybe early 2026.
Post Launch Stuff Coming Later
Now, if you’re going with either Deluxe or Super Deluxe, you’ll also get extra paid content later on:
-
The Bounty Packs will bring new missions, locations, bosses, loot and cosmetic items
-
And the Vault Hunter Packs have totally new Vault Hunters and more story stuff
free updates too, but they didn’t say exactly what or when. Maybe they'll say more during that Fan Fest on June 21.
Price Comparison (For Reference)
Edition | Price |
---|---|
Standard | $69.99 |
Deluxe | $99.99 |
Super Deluxe | $129.99 |
In other regions it’s somewhere around £59.99 or €69.99 for base version, and obviously higher for the other two.
So, Borderlands 4 is up for pre-order and there’s something for everyone depending on what you want to pay. Standard gives the game. Deluxe adds post-launch packs. And Super Deluxe? That’s for people who want everything now and later. Not bad.
You might want to watch out for the Fan Fest thing on June 21. They’ll show gameplay, trailers and probably say more about DLC plans. Meanwhile, you can pre-order from the store of your choice — PS, Xbox, Steam, all got the listings.
