Brawl Stars May 2025 Balance Patch: Full List of All Buffs, Nerfs & Fixes

Brawl Stars adds a large balance patch to the Battle for Katana Kingdom. The patch is all about overhauling things from beginning to end. This appears to have dropped on April 30, 2025. This patch encompasses all buffs, nerfs, and bug fixes on Brawlers that are either too powerful, chosen too little, or have annoying Gadget spam. 

Brawl Stars May 2025 Balance Patch: Buffs, The Rising Stars Get Their Moment 

• Crow: Heal reduction increased from 40% to 60%; hence, the increased zone control will help him a lot in modes like Brawl Ball. 

• Bonnie can now reuse her Super instantly after landing, making it even more hit-and-run style and quicker. 

• Mico: Reload speed was improved from 2600ms to 2400ms, allowing him to deal with burst damage faster. 

• Jessie: Health buff from 3000 to 3100 means she will last longer in fights, and so will her turret. 

• Willow: Health buffed from 2800 to 3100, strengthening her against other frontliners. 

• Pam: Main attack damage buffed from 260 to 300 to allow a better defence of her healing turret. 

• Meg: Out-of-mech speed buffed from 770 to 820, allowing her to reposition before transforming much more efficiently. 

Nerfs: Overpowered Brawlers Get Toned Down

• Lumi: Heath lowered to 2800; both Gadgets' cooldowns have been increased from 18s to 22s, further bringing down her crowd control uptime. 

• Bea: Rattled Hive Gadget cooldown raised from 20s to 24s, which lowers her zoning. 

• Ollie: Health reduced from 5600 to 5300, only to weaken him a notch on tanking.

• Carl: Reduced damage from the Heat Ejector Gadget from 370 to 300, making him less bursty.

• Buster: Reduced base health from 5000 to 4800; hence dialling his durability down.

• Chester, Mandy, and Stu: All had their Hypercharge charge rates nerfed, meaning that their ultimate stalling was slowed.

• Meeple: Major attack damage nerfed from 1300 to 1200. So he'll not have that biting burst lethality anymore.

• Angelo, Grey, Byron: Now with extended gadget cooldowns to avoid overuse and repeated utility.

 

Fixes and Improvements:

• This update centered on Melodie’s visual corrections regarding height.

• Fixed an error that prevented the use of Gadget by free max-level Brawlers in Ranked. 

• Penny, by the projectile, now behaves like her second shot.

• Called the bugs of Lumi's quickfire and mega-pig rewards fixed. 

• Voiceover for Jae-yong now works properly. 

• Some visual glitches occurring due to Squeak, Nita, and Eve on some Android devices have also been patched.

 

Supercell has taken steps towards the continuous effort of creating a meta in motion and balance. The May 2025 balance patch is all about reducing spam of the Gadgets and the overpower picks, along with giving considerable boosts to weaker Brawlers in a more strategic way to play.
