Brawl Stars Ranked 2.0 Update: Pro Pass, Upgradeable Skins & More

The upcoming Brawl Stars ranked update introduces significant changes, including a new Pro Pass, upgradeable Pro skins, and unlimited gadget usage.

Ranked 2.0 replaces the current system with improved matchmaking and modifier removals. Floor protection will only apply to Mythic rank and above, meaning players can now be demoted back to Diamond. Additionally, Masters will have three tiers, and a new highest rank called Pro has been introduced.

New Pro Pass, Upgradeable Skins & Unlimited Gadgets

Replacing the old ranked rewards, the Pro Pass lasts four months and allows progression through winning matches, ranking up, and watching esports events. The free track offers a Legendary-level skin, while the paid track grants gems, resources, and upgrade materials.

The first-ever Pro skin goes to Colt, featuring 11 upgrade levels. Players can collect skin upgrade items from the Pro Pass or rank drops (available eight months post-release). Each upgrade enhances the skin’s visuals, leading to Hypercharge and beyond. Animated battle cards, special spawn, and respawn effects are also included.

One of the most game-changing updates is the introduction of unlimited gadget uses, now operating on cooldowns between 7 to 30 seconds, depending on their power. The +1 Gadget Gear will be reworked to reduce cooldowns instead.
