Brawl Stars Update (Feb 2025): Ranked Overhaul, Dark Sands, UNO Event & More

Supercell is kicking off 2025 with a massive Brawl Stars update! The February update brings a Ranked System overhaul, 12 new Hypercharges, an UNO crossover event, the Dark Sands season, daily login streaks, and fresh skins. Let’s dive into everything coming your way.

New Brawlers: Finx & Lumi

Finx – The Timekeeper

Finx, the mastermind behind Starr Park’s escape room, bends time to his will. His Chronocast attack fires three projectiles, the middle one inflicting the most damage. His Time Warp Super slows down enemy projectiles but speeds up teammates'. Finxture Gadget rolls back his location and ammo three seconds. His Hieroglyph Halt Star Power slows down enemy reload time, and Primer prolongs his Super's effect.

Lumi – Fire & Ice Rockstar

Lumi, a drummer from Madevil Manor, wields dual-element attacks. Her morning star boomerangs hit enemies twice, while her Blast Beat Super delivers three powerful slams, rooting enemies on the third hit. Hit The Lights Gadget unleashes fire, while Grim & Frostbitten spreads icy winds. Star Powers Half-Time and 42% Burnt slow foes or ignite Super impact zones.

12 New Hypercharges 

Hypercharges arrive in two waves, boosting gameplay mechanics for various Brawlers:

• Carl: Super leaves a fiery trail.
• Mandy: Super fires in three directions.
• Hank: Shoots homing torpedoes.
• Bo: Deploys five mines instead of three.
• Bea: Super projectiles split and extend range.
• Meg: Enhanced swipe range and shield.
• Mr. P: Stronger Porters with double spawn.
• Buster: 360-degree shield with enhanced reflection.
• Chester: Exploding candy inflicts poison and slow.
• Lola: Mega Ego gets a power boost.
• Grom: Super creates an X-shaped explosion.
• Sam: Knuckle Buster becomes faster with instant Super charge.

Ranked System Overhaul & Pro Pass

Ranked Mode is evolving with the Pro Pass, introducing competitive challenges and Pro Skins. The first Pro Skin, Astral Colt, features multiple upgrades and exclusive cosmetics. Each month, three maxed-out Brawlers (starting with Emz, Gene, and Leon) will be free for Ranked play.

Dark Sands Season & New Skins

The Dark Sands season brings an Egyptian theme with Mummified Frank as the Brawl Pass skin, while Charcoal Frank and Papyrus Frank arrive in Brawl Pass Plus. Additional skins include:

• Queen Juju, Mystic Meeple, Pharaollie, Scarab Squeak, and Ruffesses II.
• Community-designed Super Brawl Skins: Justice Master Bibi, Spectaculor Sam, Firewing Janet, and Equilibrium Buster.
• Villain skins: Insector Carl, Protector Grom, and Electroid Chuck.
• 29-Gem Skins: Dark Night Lumi, Jurassic Finx, Fiendish Amber, Beach Belle, First Mate Fang, and Cored Eve.
• Exclusive Supercell Store Skin: P.E.K.K.A.S.H.

Daily Login Streaks now reward consecutive play, with an option to restore missed days for 29 Gems.

UNO Collaboration – A Brawl Stars First!

Brawl Stars partners with UNO for a limited-time event featuring the UNO Chester Skin and a unique UNO-inspired game mode. Players collect and discard cards, with special UNO effects granting buffs such as Power Cubes, attack blocks, and enemy reversals.
