Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Opens Another Free Trial for Players in April 2025

Activision has launched a fresh free trial period for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, giving gamers another chance to experience its multiplayer and Zombies content. Running from April 7 through April 11, this trial follows closely on the heels of the previous limited-time access.

This time around, players can explore a wide selection of features from Season 3. Although the campaign remains locked, the trial includes entry to 25 multiplayer maps and 10 different game modes. Notably, the iconic Firing Range map makes a comeback alongside two new additions, Barrage and Nomad. All Zombies mode maps are also available, including Liberty Falls, Terminus, The Tomb, Citadelle Des Morts, and Shattered Veil.

Call of Duty Black Ops 6: Fresh Content Fuels Ongoing Engagement

Season 3 officially rolled out on April 2, introducing a wealth of new content. Highlights include a revamped Battle Pass, several new multiplayer maps, and returning fan-favorite weapons. Among the classic arsenal making a return are the Kilo 141, CR-56 AMAX, HDR, and Grau 5.56.

The new trial follows a short-lived free access window that coincided with the Season 3 launch. That earlier event lasted only 24 hours due to scheduled maintenance for Call of Duty: Warzone, which was undergoing preparations for the much-anticipated return of Verdansk. During the downtime, Activision offered Black Ops 6 as a temporary alternative to keep players engaged.

With this extended trial now underway, fans of the series or newcomers looking to test the waters have several days to explore everything Season 3 offers. The free trial ends on Friday, April 11, at 10 AM PT.
