Clash of Clans February Update Brings Major Changes

The latest Clash of Clans update introduces a wave of game-changing features, including a long-awaited quality-of-life improvement, a new resource trading system, and an upgraded Minion Prince.

Major Gameplay Enhancements

• Wall Tool for Bulk Upgrades: Players can now upgrade multiple walls at once using resources or Wall Rings, making base-building significantly faster. New walls also come at no cost when extending existing ones.

• Alchemist for Resource Trading: Unlocked at Town Hall 11, the Alchemist allows players to convert one type of resource into another once per day, with a bonus. Upgrading her increases the conversion rate and limits.

• Storage and Loot Buffs: Storage capacities have been increased, along with better resource payouts from attacks, chests, Trader deals, events, and CWL shops.

Minion Prince Gets His Metal Pants

A long-standing fan complaint has been addressed—Minion Prince now wears metal pants. More than a cosmetic change, this new Hero Equipment grants him a temporary damage-reducing shield, increased health, and healing effects. Players can acquire the Metal Pants at Town Hall 10 with Blacksmith Level 3.

Additionally, past Hero Equipment will rotate into the CWL Medal Shop, giving players another chance to collect powerful gear.

Town Hall 17 Additions

For advanced players, the update introduces:

• Troop Launcher Siege Machine: Deploys barrels containing reinforcements like Barbarians, Giants, and Wall Breakers. Unlockable at Workshop Level 8 (TH16).

• Multi-Gear Tower Defense: Combines a geared-up archer tower and cannon into a single powerful defensive building with dual attack modes. Requires a certain Builder Base level to upgrade.
