A brand-new event has landed in Clash of Clans, and it’s unlike anything players have seen before. The Gold Rush delivers a thrilling mix of strategy, teamwork, and treasure hunting, all wrapped in a gold-themed spectacle. With exclusive rewards, a unique WWE crossover, and expanded clan participation, this limited-time event is turning up the heat for players around the world.
Collect Golden Nuggets and Fuel Clan Progress
The Gold Rush event is already live in the game from 14th April and continues for a week.
At the heart of the event lies a new temporary currency: Golden Nuggets. Players can earn Nuggets through:
- Collecting gold from Gold Mines.
- Retrieving Loot from the Loot Cart.
- Winning Multiplayer Battles, including league bonuses.
Only gold gathered from multiplayer battles contributes if your storages are full. Notably, gold from Clan Wars, Goblin Maps, the Builder Base, and the Clan Capital won’t count.
These Nuggets are automatically added to your clan’s total, creating a shared goal that rewards teamwork. A special building near the “Friend or Foe” area provides access to the event’s interface, where players can track progress, view leaderboards, and check milestone rewards.
Now Up to 100 Players Can Contribute & Event Rewards
In a first for Clash of Clans, up to 100 players can contribute to a single clan’s milestone progress, doubling the usual clan size limit. Even if a player contributes just one Golden Nugget, they become eligible for all unlocked rewards as long as they're in the clan when milestones are reached.
Unlike Clan Games, milestone rewards can be claimed immediately upon unlocking, with no waiting required. However, players must remain in the clan to claim their prizes. Leaving or being kicked means forfeiting any unclaimed rewards.
Event rewards include:
- 750 Champion Medals.
- 20 Reward Chests.
- An exclusive WWE Championship Belt hero cosmetic, tying in with the event’s surprise WWE crossover.
