Clash of Clans Treasure Hunt Event Returns: Here’s Everything You Need To Know

The Treasure Hunt Event is back in Clash of Clans, but this time, it's packed with major upgrades. Supercell has revamped the system to ensure players don’t miss out on rewards, adding a new stacking mechanic that lets them claim all their chests at once if they choose to. Recently, some detailed information was leaked about how the event works. Here’s a breakdown of everything players need to know before it kicks off.

How It Works

Starting March 17, players can collect treasure chests from multiplayer battles regardless of their Town Hall level or league ranking. Each attack will feature three chests hovering over random buildings, but only one contains actual loot; the other two are decoys. Players must destroy buildings until they find the real chest, indicated by a claim reward button at the end of the battle.

• If the first chest is real, players can exit the battle immediately and claim the prize.

• If it’s a decoy, a red "X" appears, signaling the need to destroy another chest-marked building.

• Players can choose to continue battling after securing their chests.

Chests and Rewards

Chests operate on a tier system, upgrading with each hit up to legendary status, with rewards improving accordingly. The drop rates are as follows:

• Legendary Chest: 2% chance

• Epic, Rare, and Common Chests increase progressively in probability.

The latest update also boosts the number of Hero Skins and Equipment available from chests, alongside increased loot, making this event more rewarding than before.

The Biggest Change: Stacking Chests

Unlike the previous version, this event allows chests to stack throughout its eight-day duration (March 17–25, 8:00 AM UTC). This means:

• Players can log in late and still claim all their missed chests in one go.

• A total of 24 chests can be obtained (three per day).

• A minimum of 24 multiplayer battles is required to collect them all.

This change removes the fear of missing out, meaning players can finish battles at their own leisure. With increased rewards, improved stacking mechanics, and a chance at legendary loot, the event is certain to be one of the most engaging yet.
