To bring the Chess Knight Guardian to life, players must first locate a White Knight chess piece. This item can spawn in one of four possible locations within each run:

1. Tavern’s Basement - Search the shelves for the piece.

2. Left Rampart Tower - Look for it on a table.

3. Upstairs Passage - In the corridor between the Entrance Hall and Dining Hall, find it on a small table near the Dragon Statue.

Once the White Knight is collected, take it to the Sitting Rooms and interact with the chessboard on the table. Placing the White Knight into the game will trigger a checkmate, causing a circle to appear on the floor. At this point, you’ll need to eliminate zombies and monsters within the circle for a set duration.
