COD Warzone Season 1 Reloaded: Holiday Cheer with New Playlists and Perk

The highly anticipated Call of Duty: Warzone Season 1 Reloaded launches on December 5, offering players a fresh lineup of modes, events, and perks. The seasonal update promises a blend of festive chaos and competitive action, with limited-time game modes and a brand-new Reflexes perk to shake up the battlefield.

Season Highlights and Limited-Time Modes

Starting December 5, Warzone players can dive into Holiday Rush Quads, a 40-player Resurgence mode on the Area 99 map, available until December 19. With a “special guest” in the sky and a warning to avoid yellow snowballs, this mode ensures a playful holiday twist.

From December 19 to January 3, Slay Ride Resurgence Quads takes over, bringing a 56-player festive variant of the popular Resurgence mode. Players will face off against Undead Santa and his zombie henchmen while capturing loot from the Codmas tree, a unique capture point.

Ongoing Playlist Modes Until January 3

The Warzone Trello board confirms a variety of playlist modes throughout Season 1 Reloaded, including:

• Ranked Play Battle Royale (Trios on Urzikstan)
• Battle Royale (Solos, Duos, Trios, Quads on Urzikstan)
• Resurgence (Solos, Duos, Quads with map rotation)
• Resurgence Quads (Area 99 and Rebirth Island)
• Plunder (Quads on Urzikstan)

While the base playlists remain unchanged after December 19, Slay Ride Resurgence will replace Holiday Rush Quads, offering players continued festive gameplay.

New Reflexes Perk Changes the Game

A significant addition to all Warzone modes, the Reflexes perk introduces tactical advantages for high-risk plays. This perk delays the detonation of explosives when sprinting past them, making it particularly useful in fast-paced modes like Slay Ride Resurgence. Players can use this perk to safely approach the Codmas tree or avoid traps in the heat of battle.
